I never watched Twilight and never intend to

Don't know what all the long winded hubbub is all about. I really like this movie and the entire premise. There was plenty of action and the acting was not that bad. The movie really began to hold my interest when the kid discovers that his parents are not his real parents. and confronts his mother. When soccer mom starts kicking butt I knew it was on! I know of the Twilight series but have never watched it and don't intend to. I did sell a unopened Twilight Scene it DVD game on eBay but that's as close as I have ever got to the series so I have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about. Forget all the Twilight comparisons this movie was fun to watch period.

C'mon, Lighten Up a Bit...

Are these two high schoolers seriously about to have sex on this runaway train while gun-wielding murderers are after them?! Teenage hormones, I guess… This is one of the most unintentionally flippant and casual espionage thrillers ever. Who tricked theaters into showing this straight-to-DVD throwaway? Laughably serious, with an ungodly amount of zoom-ins on people's brooding faces, that shirtless werewolf actually found something as overwhelmingly stupid as Twilight to star in.

Not as bad as you think

A thriller centered on a young man who sets out to uncover the truth about his life after finding his baby photo on a missing persons website. Abduction is one of those films that is pretty easy to hate especially for the leading actor Taylor Lautner who in my opinion did a pretty decent job especially with the fight sequences mostly during the fight training in his house and the train fight plus he knows martial arts so that's something, Lily Collins is kinda annoying at times i mean i didn't hate her character or the actress herself but it feels like she could have been cut out of the film and it still wouldn't change a thing. Now where the movie kinda lost me was with the pacing which at times it dragged a lot and i feel like the director tried to focus a lot more in Lautner rather than the rest of the Cast that has more experience and better acting chops than him and i was very disappointed with the fact that Jason Isaacs and Maria Bello were killed so early in the film i mean their characters were pretty interesting and when things started becoming even more interesting they just die? And then Sigourney Weaver shows up to help Nathan and Karen holding some balloons basically a rip- off scene from Eraser starring Arnold Schwarzenegger but even the lack of originality still the movie had some interesting things into it like the whole background of Nathan and his Father and speaking of hid dad? Dermot Mulroney shows up and they have this weird shots on his mouth and his eyes like the audience it's so stupid to not recognize such a famous actor like him. Overall if you count out the fact that it kills or basically disappears many famous actors and it lacks some more development within it's own plot Abduction is still a fun film to basically kill your free time and i did enjoy Lautner in the movie he isn't amazing but he isn't that awful either, the train scene is pretty cool and the late Michael Nyqvist alongside Alfred Molina do a pretty good job although their roles are limited their far bigger than Weaver's or Isaacs. (7/10)
