Dont listen to the critics

This movie is not as bad as it's made up to be, it's actually quite good! I enjoyed it and John Travolta in my opinion gave a good impersonation if you will of someone who clearly has mental issues and stalking tendencies when it comes to Big Hollywood actors. The only thing I don't quite understand is the ending and how Hunter (the actor that John Travolta's character is stalking) turns excessively violent towards Moose, stabbing him in the eye, shooting off his fingers and kicking him down the stairs. Then decides not to do any more harm to him and let's him walk out the door. I feel bad for moose considering it was the actor who was rude from the start & for not signing Mooses stuff in the first place and if he did it at the signing then most of this movie probably wouldnt have happened, but instead just became increasingly mean to moose.

Apart from that ending I feel it's a movie well worth a Watch.

I actually liked this indie art-house psychological horror-thriller film

As user 'andmcq' said, it's "so bad it's good"

Actor/novice director (and Limp Bizkit frontman) Fred Durst in his 3rd full length feature film (multiple shorts), alongside amateur Dave Bekerman, also get their first ever writing credit - and it shows.

This film is inspired by a real-life fan who pursued (as Limp Bizkit's frontman) Fred Durst many years ago, and the screenplay was written by Durst and Dave Bekerman. There were many plot and technical issues with the story-line, however the overall premise of the story was refreshing and put together quite well, as a art-house styled psychological horror-thriller film. Had Durst and Bekerman hired a seasoned screenwriter to tweak the story, I'm sure the critics would've had a positive opinion, and may have propelled this film to a cult-following style classic.

Although I'm not a fan of narrated films, this one was fitting with the comic-style sketches. The cinematography was good, and the score on point. The pacing was perfect for the 88 min runtime. The acting by the leads was decent, but Travolta did bring his A-game on this one. I'm actually quite baffled how some critics found his swaying comical or inappropriate... have they never seen an autistic person before? I know many autistic people, and his performance was on point.

Going into this not expecting much based on the bad reviews, I surprisingly thoroughly enjoyed it, and recommend it. It's a well deserved 8/10 from me.
